Hey guys, things have been a bit quiet lately on the surface.. but behind the scenes it's busy busy busy! After the epic failure of the Live Trivia Quiz, we have been banging our heads together to come up with ideas for glossing up this website, and making it more fun for our faithful users.

The following changes are therefore announced for the future of My-Trivia.Net:

Phase 1) The frequency of all trivia quizzes will be increased to 10 questions per day (instead of 20 per week), and upgraded to a new faster-paced flash quiz.

Phase 2) New Trivia Games released with a ticket system. IE: You can play the trivia games to win tickets.

Phase 3) New avatars to be introduced which will replace the old ones. This will be a choice of characters from Family Guy, Simpsons and South Park.

Phase 4) Something to spend your tickets on. Shops created for spending your tickets on items for your avatars. All characters and items/costumes will be from the TV shows.

Phase 5) Expanding with more quiz games and questions until we have our very own live trivia arcade!

Currently we are about halfway through phase 1. here is a screenshot of one of the new quizzes:



We are very excited about the new changes, and are looking forward to unleashing them upon you all!

Just letting you all know that the flash quizzes are complete. We are currently drawing like mad, getting all the new avatars ready. You may have noticed that the weekly quizzes havent been getting reset as regularly as in the past. Im resetting as much as possible, but as you can imagine it's difficult to keep doing that when there is still so much other work to be done.

Not sure how long this is all going to take, but rest assured work is still continuing... and I'm sure you are all going to love the new site. Can't wait to show to you.

The latest big news would be that we are planning to add quizzes for the following shows in the future once all these changes have been implemented: Futurama, American Dad.

Beat the bomb quiz is now complete... also the new image galleries and audio files sections are moved into the new format... we are nearing completion now. Should be done within the next week or so. Still have plenty of avatars and clothing to draw, but i see no reason why we can't open up the new version while they are being drawn... agreed?
