Well, I'm really happy with how the new scoring system is going. It definitely seems to be encouraging you guys to have a go at more quizzes. Dont' forget that it takes the last 4 weeks into account, so if you have just joined us and done really well this week, you will need to come back for the next 3 weeks to achieve a super-high rating
Just another side note, I'm thinking of implementing something different for the awards. Instead of them showing on the high scores tables as little symbols, what if each player had a "Wall of Fame", which is displayed on your profile page. Against the wall would be a trophy case, which would contain the highest awards, as well as pennants, framed certificates and other awards on the wall. You would be able to change the wallpaper as you see fit also. This would probably be done in flash, (so it would require you had that installed in your browser), or perhaps Javascript, not sure yet. Hovering over each award with your mouse would give a description of the award, the date you achieved it, and an enlarged picture of the award.
Any comments, suggestions, ideas or feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated
oh yeah but then there was a slight hiccup in the process and caused some pink stripes to emerge
